DESCRIPTION:Lennart Henderickx is één die zeldzame trompettisten die niet hard hoeft te spelen om virtuoos te zijn. Ideaal dus voor een lekker intieme Jazz Matinee. Wat hij speelt noemt hij dan ook graag ‘zachte bop’\, in tegenstelling tot hard bop. Denk aan Chet Baker of Clifford Brown\, al brengt Lennart evengoed en even goede eigen composities. Dat doet hij voor ons samen met Flor Wellens op piano\, spaarzaam met noten\, rijk in textuur.
